He will make an official announcement soon. Not only this, the report also claims that Fakhar is planning to leave Pakistan soon and live with his family in another country. This will prove to be a disaster for the Pakistani team after the Champions Trophy defeat.
Fakhar's ODI career also began with the 2017 Champions Trophy. In the final of the tournament, he scored a magnificent century against India to lead his team to the title. Now, after 8 years, his career is coming to an end with his farewell in the first match of the Champions Trophy. Fakhar has scored 3651 runs for 46 in 86 one-day matches, which includes 11 centuries and 17 half-centuries. He is the only batsman for Pakistan to score a double century in ODIs.
